Healing chronic diseases with Berber medicinal plants
Azul Fellawen
My name Mohand and I live in Abizar, a large Kabyle village located in the province of Tizi-Ouzou. I studied at the university, I traveled to many countries and I lived many years abroad. One day, I decided to return back home to live with my family, my mother, in Abizar.
For years, I have developed a passion for native plants that are amazingly best cures for several diseases including the chronic ones. My mother was my teacher that made me learn so much about plants and their uses, so I thought why can’t I share this unique knowledge with the sick people that are in need. These medicinal plants are those found everywhere around us; they are known as Asemmum, Anajel, eljuz, azegduf, elqurfa, and the list goes on.
Currently, I treat patients who come from everywhere with my 70 medicinal plants that I collected here and there bundled with a small diet. It is a program that patients should follow for some time and as we all know it is only god that heals the sick people. May you recover from your pain, God willing.
