Many people confuse Islam with the Arabic for hundreds of years. You don’t need to be an Arab to be a Muslim, and vice versa. Islam is a belief, a faith, a healing, a divine religion and is now found around the world defying all geographical and political boundaries placed by the people of today and yesteryear. Islam has spread so quickly in the hearts regardless of their origins, colours, languages and political inclinations. Today, it is spread in all corners of the non-Arab world such as Indonesia, Turkey and the Turkish and the Kurds, Algeria and Morocco of the Imazighen (Berbers), Afghanistan of Pashtun, Southern Africa of the Zulu, India of the Hindus, China of the Chinese, etc..
There has never been any Arabicization in the view of Islamization in all continents except North Africa citing Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, etc. that are Amazigh regions for thousands of years , and the Middle East such as Lebanon, Syria, etc that are Phoenicians.
I am neither a politician nor politicized, but I defend my my ancestors’ Amazigh culture, the culture that my parents taught me from my birth that I deeply love with all my heart. I want to read, speak and write in my language 'Tamazight' everywhere in Algeria. I want to see my language spoken in the parliament and Tribunals, and see my culture being promoted worldwide as the country's pride, which is supposed to be the case.
I do not understand why Arabicizing non-Arabs (Tamazgha = North Africa) and why Arabicizing people that are already Arabs, if so?
