This is a Large Berber clay pottery Bowl for couscous and soup. It is 100% handmade with clay and decorate with oxide, no paint. See the video below
Size: 200mm diameter x 60mm high
Note: The plates are 100% handmande, please expect them to be slightly different in shape, colour, pattern and size, which is the beauty of handmade as they are all unique. However, if you do not wish that, please let us know.
The oldest piece of the Amazigh (Known as Berber) pottery was found in North Africa; it is around 13000 years old. That shows the age of the Amazigh culture in that region. The Amazigh people have always made their pottery by hand, decorated in the Amazigh symbols and characters usually to mean something in particular, a message or an expressed feeling especially if it is offered to either a family member or to the neighbouring tribe to strengthen the bonds.
