This is a 3D Berber Jewellery decoration on a clay couscous platter made by an Algerian Kabyle artisan. It is an actual platter that was transformed into an object of for decoration

The oldest piece of the Amazigh (Known as Berber) pottery was found in North Africa; it is around 13000 years old. That shows the age of the Amazigh culture in that region. The Amazigh people have always made their pottery by hand, decorated in the Amazigh symbols and characters usually to mean something in particular, a message or an expressed feeling especially if it is offered to either a family member or to the neighbouring tribe to strengthen the bonds.

Azul fellawen Cela fait quelques semaines que j'ai découvert ce site berbére et c'est presque chaque jour que je rentre pour l'exploiter de plus en plus. Ce que j'ai aimé dans ton site Hacene est le fait que tu as inclus un peu de tout : la poésie, l'histoire, les traditions,........etc .De penser a inclure : les sites, les travaux, accomplies par les autres ma beaucoup touché, car cela prouve ta bonne foie de vouloir valoriser et rendre connu tout ce qui a rapport avec nous les berberes. Je t'encourage a perseverer Hacene et de y aller plus loin avec ca. L'Australie est un pays ou notre communauté ne se retrouve pas trop, alors j'imagine qu'il faut plus de travail et d'efforts qu'ailleurs , Mais je comprends également que vous avez le plus important : la volonté et la patience . The customer service at Berbero Saharah is excellent. I ordered a beautiful tagine which I didn\'t realise was only for serving, not cooking. Luckily they had the foresight to hold off on sending it out and contacted me first to confirm whether I still wanted the tagine. I was able to exchange for another one which is for cooking, and am looking forward to enjoying lots of delicious meals!
