This unique Kabyle/Berber hand of fatima pendant is purely handmade by an Algerian artisan using pure silver 950¸ mediterranean red coral and colourful enamel. You sometimes get imperfections in their jewellery; that is because they are done separately by hand; which gives it the real sense of the Handmade. It could take them hours to make one single piece of art such as this one. It is made with passion and love to the culture. The artisans are only using pure products.
Meaning of Hand of Fatima:
The Khamsa or Hamsa¸ (in Hebrew: “Khamsa” in Arabic: Hamsa means “five”) is an
icon in amulets¸ charms¸ and Jewellery¸ to protect against evil eyes.
An Islamic alternative name for this charm : “Eye of Fatima or the hand of
Fatima” ¸ regarding to Fatima Zahra¸ Prophet Muhammad’s daughter. The other
meaning in Jewish is Miriam’s hand ¸ as regards Miriam¸ the sister of Aaron and
Moses. It is a sort of “protection of the hand” or “The hand of God“.
It symbolizes also the five books of the Torah to Jews and the Five Pillars of
Islam for Sunni Muslims.
In recent years¸ several peace activists in the Middle East¸ have chosen to wear
resistance Hamsa the symbol of the origin and the similarities between the
Jewish and Islamic tradition. The fingers may point up or down.

This is a very exciting website! I like being able to see decent sized pictures of the products, and a brief history and explanation of the items is also very interesting and effective. Im very excited at the opprotunity to purchase such exotic and beautiful items so easily! Gotta love the internet for that right! Im looking forward to seeing the pottery and rugs too - cant wait for that! Keep up the good work, and I hope your goal is achieved - to familiarise australians with this mystical culture and it's beauty. Well done!

I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful pieces you sent me, they are even better then I thought as it is hard sometimes to get the feel from a picture. they are truly exquisite, a master craftsmen work. I was also wondering if I could get the rest of the earrings all 5 pairs of them, as I would like to use them to create something special, is it possible to get the same deal?I understand if not, My mind is thinking of what else I could get :). All the best. take care. Raphael.

Overall your web site is really interesting. I found the products you offer intriguing and your range is a variety of georgous things that any one would love to have. It is becoming a rare thing these days to be able to have handmade products in your home and as jewellery for that matter. Uniqueness usually comes at a high price but I am surprised to learn that your prices are very affordable. The only suggestions I could make are merely minor details and probably not so important such as the percentage figures on the sale discounts are rather small and don't really stand out, you might want to try enlarging those to be more visible to the naked eye. Other than that the site offers history, knowledge and basically good product.. so congratulations!
