This beautiful and unique pair of earrings is handmade by the Kabyles (Amazigh or Berber) people of Algeria. The artisans are mainly using hand and traditional tools; it could take them hours to make one single piece of art such as this one. It is made with passion and love to the culture. The artisans are only using pure products such as the Mediterranean red coral, pure silver 950 and colourful enamel.
The Berber Jewellery have a very old history in North Africa of thousands of years, which is still alive. You will be proud of wearing it.
What is Kabyle Jewellery (Jewelry):
The Native people of North Africa are called Imazighen (Amazigh for singular), where we can find different dilects such as Kabyle, Tuareg, Chawi, Chelhi, Amazigh, Rifi, Mouzabit, etc. The Kabyles refers then to the Amazigh/Berber people of the Northern part of Algeria, they are specialised in a lot of handcrafted artifacts such as Pottery and ceramics, Berber Rugs, and Silver Jewellery with pure Mediterranean red coral for hundreds of years. They excel in it all in keeping its traditional aspect of it, they are never mass produced and they are never identical as they have always been handmade one by one.

Azul fellawen Cela fait quelques semaines que j'ai découvert ce site berbére et c'est presque chaque jour que je rentre pour l'exploiter de plus en plus. Ce que j'ai aimé dans ton site Hacene est le fait que tu as inclus un peu de tout : la poésie, l'histoire, les traditions,........etc .De penser a inclure : les sites, les travaux, accomplies par les autres ma beaucoup touché, car cela prouve ta bonne foie de vouloir valoriser et rendre connu tout ce qui a rapport avec nous les berberes. Je t'encourage a perseverer Hacene et de y aller plus loin avec ca. L'Australie est un pays ou notre communauté ne se retrouve pas trop, alors j'imagine qu'il faut plus de travail et d'efforts qu'ailleurs , Mais je comprends également que vous avez le plus important : la volonté et la patience . I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful pieces you sent me, they are even better then I thought as it is hard sometimes to get the feel from a picture. they are truly exquisite, a master craftsmen work. I was also wondering if I could get the rest of the earrings all 5 pairs of them, as I would like to use them to create something special, is it possible to get the same deal?I understand if not, My mind is thinking of what else I could get :). The customer service at Berbero Saharah is excellent. I ordered a beautiful tagine which I didn\'t realise was only for serving, not cooking. Luckily they had the foresight to hold off on sending it out and contacted me first to confirm whether I still wanted the tagine. I was able to exchange for another one which is for cooking, and am looking forward to enjoying lots of delicious meals!
