Ras El Hanout authentique d'Algérie - Mélange d'épices - 20 grammes
Ras el hanout ou Rass el hanout est une combinaison d'épices de différentes régions d'Afrique du Nord. Le nom est en Arabe pour "la tête de la boutique " et implique une combinaison des épices les plus simples et chargés avec des arômes que le vendeur doit utiliser. Ras el hanout est employé dans plusieurs plats salés, généralement frotté sur la viande ou ajouté dans le riz. Chaque magasin, société ou personne pourrait avoir leur propre mélange.
Le mélange comportant plusieurs épices. Les ingrédients normalement utilisés sont comme la cardamome, clou de girofle, la cannelle, poivrons rez-de piment, la coriandre, le cumin, le poivre, le paprika, le fenugrec, et le curcuma. Certaines épices sont également spécifiques à la région, comme les baies de cendres, souchet, grains de paradis, racine d'iris, de poivre de moine, le cubèbe, ou bouton de rose séchée. Les ingrédients sont également cuits avant d'être broyées et mélangées.
Le Ras El Hanout Algérien est généralement connu pour être plus doux, en utilisant moins d'ingrédients mais encore donne un gout à mourir une fois mis dans la nourriture.

And it is exciting to think my belts are being handmade especially for me in Algeria - it is obviously a fascinating country. I'm too old to travel now, but love learning about places I have never seen. The photos (modern and old) are fascinating. I run a very tiny gift shop in a very tiny place (Lemon Tree Passage). The shop is part of the waterside unit my husband Ray and I live in. Not to make a profit, but to keep me occupied and interested as he is an invalid now. The community is getting familiar with the fact that The Little Gift Shoppe always has something unusual. Not that you need to know all that, but I had to compliment you on your web site. I don't know who has created it for you, or if indeed you have put it together yourself, but whichever applies, it is one of the best sites, both from content and composition that I have visited.
