The Symbol represents Freedom seen by the Imazighen of North Africa, it was used in the war as a weapon and also represents the last letter 'Z' of the Tifinagh Alphabet. It is called the AZA sign of the Imazighen people used in the middle of the Amazigh flag.

This unique Kabyle/Berber Amazigh symbol pendant is purely handmade by an Algerian artisan using pure silver 950¸ mediterranean red coral and colourful enamel. You sometimes get imperfections in their jewellery; that is because they are done separately by hand; which gives it the real sense of the Handmade. It could take them hours to make one single piece of art such as this one. It is made with passion and love to the culture. The artisans are only using pure products.

What is Kabyle Jewellery (Jewelry):
The Native people of North Africa are called Imazighen (Amazigh for singular), where we can find different dilects such as Kabyle, Tuareg, Chawi, Shelfi, Amazigh, Rifi, Mouzabit, etc. The Kabyles refers then to the Amazigh/Berber people of the Northern part of Algeria, they are specialised in a lot of handcrafted artifacts such as Pottery and ceramics, Berber Rugs, and Silver Jewellery with pure Mediterranean red coral for hundreds of years. This is a very exciting website! I like being able to see decent sized pictures of the products, and a brief history and explanation of the items is also very interesting and effective. Pour les bijoux essayes de demander a des filles de porter les bijoux avec des vetements qui pourraient aller avec (tu varies selon les couleurs et aussi si ca se porte avec des robes de soirees ou bien casual etc...) ca fait toujours bien. Pour les robes Kabyles aussi, c'est bien de voir des personnes porter les robes pour se faire une idee.
