This beautiful and unique Necklace is handmade by the Kabyles (Amazigh or Berber) people of Algeria. The artisans are mainly using hand and traditional tools; it could take them hours to make one single piece of art such as this one. It is made with passion and love to the culture. The artisans are only using pure products such as the Mediterranean red coral, pure silver 950 and colourful enamel. The most popular Kabyle Jewellery are handmade in the mountainous region of Kabylia called Ath yenni, where this art of jewellery making goes back to hundreds of years.

What is Kabyle Jewellery (Jewelry):
The Native people of North Africa are called Imazighen (Amazigh for singular), where we can find different dilects such as Kabyle, Tuareg, Chawi, Chelhi, Amazigh, Rifi, Mouzabit, etc. The Kabyles refers then to the Amazigh/Berber people of the Northern part of Algeria, they are specialised in a lot of handcrafted artifacts such as Pottery and ceramics, Berber Rugs, and Silver Jewellery with pure Mediterranean red coral for hundreds of years. I am so pleased to send this email. The Nativity arrived today in perfect condition. It is beautiful. Thank you for helping me receive this Set. Please pass along my thanks to the artist. Does she make other figures? I would like to add some more 'village people' to the Set. This could be women and men bringing gifts to the woman and boy. I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful pieces you sent me, they are even better then I thought as it is hard sometimes to get the feel from a picture. they are truly exquisite, a master craftsmen work.
