Product: Hand carved Silver Tuareg Necklace from the Sahara desert
This unique Tuareg Necklace is purely handmade in the Sahara desert of Algeria using carved silver. The Tuaregs do not use machines or moulds. They shape silver and natural objects such as bones using their traditional tools. You sometimes get imperfections in their jewellery; that is because they are done separately by hand; which gives it the real sense of the Handmade. It could take them hours to make one single piece of art such as this one. It is made with passion and love to the culture. The artisans are only using pure products. Enjoy watching the video below!
You can find the name of the Amazigh people of the Sahara desert written in different ways such as Tuareg, Twareg, Touareg, Touaregue, etc. But they are all mean the same noble people.
What is Tuareg Jewellery (Jewelry):
The Native people of North Africa are called Imazighen (Amazigh for singular), where we can find different dialects such as Kabyle, Tuareg, Chawi, Shelhi, Amazigh, Rifi, Mouzabit, etc. TheTuaregs refers then to the Amazigh/Berber people of the Sahara desert Algeria, they are specialised in a lot of handcrafted artifacts such as leather products, Berber Rugs, and Silver Tuareg Jewellery with natural stones for hundreds of years. They excel in it all in keeping its traditional aspect, they are never mass produced and they are never identical as they have always been handmade one by one.
They make all sorts of Jewellery, such as:
Handmade Silver Earrings
Handmade Silver Rings
Handmade Silver Necklaces
Handmade Silver Pendants
Handmade Silver Bracelets and Bangles

Your website is unique in itself and only needs minor variations possibly to improve the homepage by changing the layout of the page. Maybe having the writing down the sides and having the pictures in the centre with links below them to make it easier for your customers to find certain products. Possibly a black background will be nicer than a grey one. Other than that I think you have done well, your genuine authentic products & fantastic prices will attract customers. Wishing you all the best for the coming year!

Hacene, thank you for your notification, I shall look forward to receiving the Sand Roses. And it is exciting to think my belts are being handmade especially for me in Algeria - it is obviously a fascinating country. I'm too old to travel now, but love learning about places I have never seen. The photos (modern and old) are fascinating. I run a very tiny gift shop in a very tiny place (Lemon Tree Passage). The shop is part of the waterside unit my husband Ray and I live in. Not to make a profit, but to keep me occupied and interested as he is an invalid now. The community is getting familiar with the fact that The Little Gift Shoppe always has something unusual. Not that you need to know all that, but I had to compliment you on your web site. I don't know who has created it for you, or if indeed you have put it together yourself, but whichever applies, it is one of the best sites, both from content and composition that I have visited. I don't know if Algerians recognise our New Year celebrations, but I send you and your family my latest buzz phrase.... Have a great 2008!
