This Tuareg Letter Opener is purely handmade and carved in the Sahara desert. Made with Ebony wood and silver. The Tuaregs do never use machines or moulds. They shape silver and natural stones such as the agate using their traditional tools. You can also hang it on the wall as a knife for decorations. You sometimes get imperfections in their jewellery; that is because they are done separately by hand; which gives it the real sense of the Handmade. Enjoy!

What is Tuareg Jewellery (Jewelry):
The Native people of North Africa are called Imazighen (Amazigh for singular), where we can find different dilects such as Kabyle, Tuareg, Chawi, Shelhi, Amazigh, Rifi, Mouzabit, etc. TheTuaregs refers then to the Amazigh/Berber people of the Sahara desert Algeria, they are specialised in a lot of handcrafted artifacts such as leather products, Berber Rugs, and Silver Tuareg Jewellery with natural stones for hundreds of years. They excel in it all in keeping its traditional aspect, they are never mass produced and they are never identical as they have always been handmade one by one.
